When
I worked in the Tasting Room, I never believed in telling people what
they would taste- cassis, truffles, cherries, eye of newt. I thought each person should decide what they taste with no outside
influence. My philosophy was that part of the enjoyment in wine
tasting was the joy of discovery. Discovering a subtle note, an
unidentified flavor, a varietal, the interesting person tasting next
to you, or the fact you actually liked wine!
It
is with this in mind that I started this blog. Instead of telling you
the esoteric of wine tasting, I would share with you the joys I
personally discover while wine tasting in Southern Oregon.
Please
take this journey with me. You may have a few laughs, you might
discover new wineries or tasting rooms, you might even learn something
along the way- provided that I learn it first.
If you enjoyed my service and company behind the bar, perhaps you will enjoy it on this side of the bar. I certainly hope so.

This is great. I started a blog as well. Check out http://WinePrint.blogspot.com Joe, let's get the word out. Southern Oregon Wineries need a grass roots movement. Please give me any suggestions on how to lay my blog out. I like your layout better then mine. Let's get a drink Friday after work.
